The Research Council of the Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences assesses the Library’s research activities and approves research programs and research directions. The Council makes recommendations in regard to the Library’s strategic activities, checks and approves annual reports and programs of planned works submitted by the Library’s director, approves works prepared for publication; prepares projects of amendments to the Library’s regulations and submits them to the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences for approval.

The Research Council of the Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences approved by resolution no. 31 of the Presidium of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences of October 25, 2022:

1. Dr. Habil. Zenonas Dabkevičius(Chairman), Vice-president of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences;
2. Dr. Habil. Grasilda Blažienė, Chairperson of the Research Council of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language; Head of the Research Centre of the Baltic Languages and Onomastics;
3. Dr. Habil. Vincas Būda, Senior Researcher at the Nature Research Centre;
4. Dr. Habil.  Domas Kaunas, Emeritus Professor of the Department of Book, Media, and Publishing Studies of Vilnius Universitety;
5. Rimvydas Laužikas, Professor of the Department of Digital Cultures and Communication of Vilnius Universitety;
6. Dr. Habil.  Eugenijus Norkus, Head of the Department of Catalysis of the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology
7. Dr. Rimvydas Petrauskas, Rector of Vilnius University;
8. Jolanta Širkaitė, Deputy Director of the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute;
9. Sigitas Narbutas, Director of the Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
