Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Summer 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The reading room:
- has 8 study seats, 4 of which are computer workstations (Rules for Computer Use);
- provides options for scanning documents and printing copies (Services Price List);
- offers Wi-Fi access.
The open stacks in the reading room contain over 24000 important 19th-20th-century publications in humanities and social sciences:
- books and journals,
- multilingual dictionaries,
- specialized encyclopedias,
- source publications.
Readers are welcome:
- to request an item in advance of their visit through the Library’s Catalogue;
- to use subscription and open access databases;
- to save retrieved information to a personal data storage device;
- to use the Internet, to send and receive e-mail, and to use Microsoft Office applications;
- to check out the items kept in this Reading Room to all the other reading rooms of the Library.
