The Interlibrary Loan service (ILL) is a circulation service that enables readers to receive materials sent from libraries of Lithuania and other countries through the Wroblewski Library.
If a user does not find required materials in the holdings of the Wroblewski Library, he/she may request publications or copies of articles from other libraries of Lithuania or libraries of other countries.
The Interlibrary Loan service is regulated by the Rules for the Use of the Interlibrary Loan Service.
A user must pay for the interlibrary loan of publications and copies of articles in accordance with the Services Price List.
The Interlibrary Loan service is provided to the following entities or individuals:
- Registered Users of the Library;
- Lithuanian libraries or legal persons that have the ILL certificate or have signed an IL service provision agreement;
- Libraries and institutions of other countries.
Interlibrary Loan procedure
- To make an IL request, you must submit the bibliographic record for a publication or article requested;
- Only copies of articles may be requested from periodicals;
- Encyclopedials, guides, manuals, dictionaries and bibliographies are not supplied through Interlibrary Loan;
- A user must make his/her first ILL request at the Library, further requests may be sent by e-mail to tba@mab.lt.
