Old Periodicals Reading Room
Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. to 3.45 p.m.
The Old Periodicals Reading Room:
- has 4 study seats, 1 of which is a computer workstation (Rules for Computer Use);
- offers Wi-Fi access.
Materials available:
- Lithuanian and Lituanica (in Russian, Belarusian, Polish and other languages) periodicals from the 19th-20th century (prie-1945);
- Old, rare non-Lituanica periodicals (pre-1800);
- Lithuanian emigree periodicals (from the 19th century to this day);
- Reference materials: encyclopedias, bibliographies, manuals, guides.
Readers are welcome:
- to request an item in advance of their visit through the Library’s Catalogue;
- to order copies of documents:
- order form (form);
- Services Price List.
Requests for items from the Old Periodicals collections of the Rare Books Department are accepted until 16.45 p.m.
